Brett's Birthday Party

On January 2nd we celebrated Brett's birthday in the mountains of Victoria. Once school started again Brett decided he wanted to have a birthday party with his classmates. So I had to start organising. First we planned his party for Wednesday February 11th. Unfortunately he was sick on that day, had a virus with high temperatures and headaches so we postponed it to the following week. Finally the long-awaited day arrived and we had a very enjoyable party with 8 boys.

They played all sorts of fun things like:

a swim in the pool where they all squirted eachother with the water guns

a relay race to fill the milk bottle with water

dangling donuts, and the winner was Quentin!!
And they also played stick the pirate on the treasure box, with Benjamin the winner, pass the parcel, with Ethan the smiling winner, musical chairs where Brett was ousted by Tyrone and finally a treasure hunt through the house to find their lolly bags.
All in all, it was loads of fun and the kids all went home smiling.

You are one brave woman, I thought I did well allowing 5 extra boys to invade our living space when I let my kids have parties. Looks like they had a blast, a swimming pool obviously goes a long way for entertainment!
