Monday was a student free day, and so they invited 6 friends each for a pink and purple party. They seem to mix in 2 quite different circle of friends which made it rather interesting. The party was from 11 til 4 and although at first I thought "help what have I done!! the time actually went by quickly and the 14 girls were kept well entertained the whole time.
The party girls are dressed up and ready for fun!
Meagan and Jessica blowing out their candles. Yeay, they're really teenagers!! Take note of the fancy cakes we even made. I was quite impressed!!
After prezzies and cakes the girls wanted to play 2 rounds of arrow hunt. Jessica's team went to hide first while Meagan and her friends painted finger nails and played a fuzzy bunny game where you had to keep stuffing marshmallows in your mouth until you could no longer say "fuzzy bunnies" It was pretty disgusting but kept the girls in stitches!!
Then Meagan's team went to hide while Jessica and her friends played some games.
They had a hard time finding Meagan's team which was good, it took up a lot of time!!! They came home once ready to give up but I sent them back out again and 20 minutes later they all finally came in, hot and ready for a swim so it was into the pool next!
The girls swam and played a few relay races before it was time to warm up again.
We did a few dances together like "the Hokey Pokey" ,"Chicken Dance" and the "Brown Jug Polka"
The girls also made a card and played a few more games like treasure hunt and the balloon stomping game before it was time to head home.
Another great party with lots of fun memories.

Wow- teenagers!!! I just remember Meagan and Jess as 3 year olds...
Congratulations to them and to you!
You sure went all out for their party! Is this the last one for them? Over here, school parties usually end at age 12.
It's funny that you played "fuzzy bunny"- I just read about that game the other day- apparently it is the #1 favourite game played at church youth groups across Canada!
Hi Marg,
Wow, and I thought I was a sucker for punishment, you had them all day! It's amazing how simple games can be so much fun, and even games like the balloon stomping game don't get babyish even at their age!The kids sure are growing up fast!
